Six champions were crowned on the second day of competition at the 2018 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern Championships in Rochester, N.Y., at Gordon Fieldhouse at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

The first six of 16 champions were crowned today at the 2018 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern Championships in Rochester, N.Y., at Gordon Fieldhouse at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Over 900 gymnasts will compete May 4-6 at the 2018 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern and Western Championships in Rochester, N.Y. and Salt Lake City, Utah.

USA Gymnastics has selected the sites for the three 2018 Junior Olympic championship events for women’s gymnastics: U.S. Junior Olympic National Championships, Cincinnati, Ohio; Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern Championships, Rochester N.Y.; and Junior Olympic Level 9 Western Championships, Salt Lake City, Utah.

Region 5 won the Super Team title at the 2017 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern Championships. The three-day championships, which showcased 454 female gymnasts, wrapped up April 30 in Lansing, Mich., at Summit Sports and Ice Complex.

Over 900 gymnasts are expected to compete at the 2017 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern and Western Championships scheduled for April 28-30.

Indianapolis, Ind., Lansing, Mich., and Boise, Idaho will be the sites for 2017’s three Junior Olympic championship events for women’s gymnastics.

At both the 2016 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern and Western Championships this past weekend, 16 age-division champions were named, along with junior and senior team and super team champs.

The 2015 Women’s Junior Olympic Level 9 Eastern and Western Championships begin this Friday, May 8, and wrap up on May 10.
